Teams Premium vs Copilot for Meeting Notes
All the dude used Teams Prem for was the transcription and summary, this was a slam dunk.
The situation
A user had Teams Premium on top of Business Standard, and the only thing they used it for was meeting transcripts and summaries.
The comparison
Copilot covers transcription and summaries, and does more on top. Prices are AUD per user per month, as seen in Oct 2026:

Doing the swap
- Assign the Business Standard + Copilot combo licence.
- Remove Teams Premium once the combo is assigned, so they’re not paying for both.
